The Irish Sporting & Social Club was formed in Vancouver in 1974. The aim when creating this club was to bring the local Irish community together socially and to promote the games of Gaelic Football, Hurling and Camogie.
Our club now runs a number of successful teams across all levels for both the Mens and Ladies Gaelic football.
ISSC continues to promote and support Irish cultural and sporting events in Greater Vancouver and are always welcoming new members.
In 2024, we celebrated our 50th Anniversary to commemorate the clubs’ success and recognize the dedication and commitment of its members throughout the years.
