Gaelic Football 7’s Week 3

bf2
Another very successful night for week 2 of The Black Frog Sevens Tournament.
The Trailers Park Boys still hold the lead with maximum points from their 2 games thanks again to the ladies scoring.
The Wildcats are elevated to 2nd place with a win by the narrowest of margins over McGinn’s Army.
The Goonies had a convincing win over Strawberries & Cream who remain at the foot of the table.
There is prize money of $200 for the winners and $100 for the runners up. This prize money will be given out at the conclusion of the tournament on the Friday that precedes St. Patrick’s day to help you kick off the weekend.
Also for those interested, the Australian rules teams the Cougars and the Saints are currently training indoors mid week and welcoming to anyone interested in dropping in. The Saints train on a Wednesday and the Cougars currently training on a Thursday.

Gaelic Football 7’s – Week 2

The Black Frog 7’s Mixed Gaelic Football competition kicked off last Friday.

bf1

We had a very successful opening night to the 2009 sevens tournament with almost 50 people in attendance and we hope to add to this for week 2 on Friday night.
The Trailer Park Boys have raced into an early lead by winning their game and securing the all important bonus point thanks to their ladies scoring.
Strawberries & Cream prop up the table with a complete lack of imagination which is reflected by it’s own name.

It’s not too late to come out and join in the fun.

Please find attached the schedule and results, please be on time for your game on Friday.
If any of you be at the venue for 6pm to help set up the pitch, it would be greatly appreciated.
