Ladies Gaelic Football Association Visit

The Ladies Gaelic Football Association came to Vancouver from April 22 to 28 to provide some coaching work shops and observe our club.   Here is a short note from Lyn Savage, LGFA Development Tutor, following their visit to Vancouver.

“We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to you all for the warm welcome we received in Vancouver over the last few days as we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.  We would like to commend the club for the hard work that is taking place currently to ensure that gaelic games continues to grow in Vancouver and we hope that the support and assistance we provided will be of benefit to you into the future.”

These Tutors provided some great training to our members and observed our club for a few days, from a unique, informed perspective.  Here are the 3 key aspects of our Club that they believe we can focus on.

  1. Internal Communication
  2. Schools Project
  3. Playing Rules

If you would like to hear more about how they believe we work together on these items to improve Our Club, feel free to connect with Ronan Deane, ISSC Club Development Officer,ronandeane@hotmail.com.
